I started out as a total DIY newbie, but I've learned a lot from my mistakes! Now you can learn from them too - without making the same ones.
Painting
It can be really hard to pick a paint color for your home, especially if you're indecisive like me. Instead of painting swatches directly onto the wall, try painting a sheet of posterboard or even regular printer paper. That way you can move it around to test drive the color in different places and different lights without the commitment of real paint on the wall. Even better? Your husband will thank you for not putting new swatches on freshly pained walls. You're welcome.
Spray Paint
You know how the directions on products sometimes say "test on small area first"? Yeah...they say that for a reason. It's a good idea before you start to check the ingredients in the products you're using. Some products can have negative effects on each other when mixed, and that's a good thing to know beforehand!
